Movies

One of my favorite past times is watching movies. Below, I have listed and described several of my favorite movies.

  1. Swingers: This is an entertaining look into the lives of a group of friends in California. Most of the group is made up of actors who spend the day looking for jobs and the night looking for women. This is a definite must-see for anyone who enjoys a good laugh. Starring Vince Vaughn (new Psycho) and Jon Favreau (Very Bad Things)

Tombstone: This movie is based on the life of legendary wild west marshal, Wyatt Earp. Earp, along with his two brothers and Doc Holiday, have the unenviable task of taming Tombstone, Arizona. It includes legendary moments such as the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral. This is an excellent movie for history buffs, western fans, and anyone who enjoys a good action movie.

Starring Kurt Russell (Backdraft, Escape from L.A.) and Val Kilmer (The Saint, The Island of Dr. Moreau)

The Shawshank Redemption: The key to the success of this movie was excellent acting. It is a story of a wrongly-convicted man who is sentenced to life in prison. As the years go on and friendships are made, you begin to find yourself feeling like you are actually in the movie. The last half-hour of the movie would be worth watching by itself.

Starring Tim Robbins (The Player, Bull Durham) and Morgan Freeman (Seven, Kiss the Girls)
