Music

The world of music is full of groups that have been around for decades, up-and-coming superstars, and brand new faces. I would like to take time to tell a little about two of my favorite groups.

The Dixie Chicks: The Dixie Chicks is a country group that just hit mainstream country with their new album "Wide Open Spaces." This album is an exceptionally entertaining album that keeps you singing along all the way from track one to track twelve. The Dixie Chicks is made up of Natalie Maines, Martie Seidel, and Emily Erwin. This album is definitely one of the best that I own, in any type of music. Someone who listens to country music will definitely enjoy it, but it is also the type of album that could convert someone to country. If you don’t have it, get it!

The Mighty Mighty Bosstones: The Bosstones is a group that have been around for quite a while and are the focus of a very dedicated fan following. The Bosstones never fail to entertain at a live show and never fail to produce a great album. Their most recent studio album, "Let’s Face It", is packed with a combination of Punk, Ska, and Swing music. Recently, the group released a live album titled "Live from the Middle East". This CD is made up of 22 live songs and appears to be another Bosstone success.
